About Alexz
Native English speaker, with a BA(Hons) In Animation (received 1st grading on my dissertation which required high level English skills). I taught my cousin to read when I was 13 and she was 11, and have had a great grasp on English in formal and informal use. (Coincidentally that cousin now runs her own businesses - she was completely illiterate before I taught her to read and write). Friendly, empathetic and patient; I have an exuberant and vivacious vocabulary, and a good sense of humour ( I can definitely teach you common sayings AND slang). I'm sure for many they would rather learn from genuine working class English native speaker to know how the language is REALLY used.

We will take an approach that starts with gauging your starting point, working out your goals (we can use a translation app for this part!); however much or little you want to let me know about yourself (though obviously the more I know the better I can tailor a lesson plan for you). I have been out of my main work for a while due to disability and am eager to put my training skills to use (my main career outside of performing music regularly is training people in sales) and am confident I can work out what will work for you! Whether that's simple reading and writing or speech focused, improvement of existing skills, or just getting to actually converse with someone English regularly to hone your skills.
