About Chris
I love teaching English, and sharing the successes of my students when they manage to overcome a hurdle. Like Anton, who managed to get top marks in his IELTS and emigrated to Australia, or Maria, who was nervous about doing a presentation at an international conference. We work together to help you achieve what you are aiming for. Or, like Abdulla, who has been with me for 9 years: you might just want to have classes to keep your level up and have nice chats in English a couple of times a week. These are YOUR lessons, so we will work at your pace and you won't be forced to do any tasks you don't want to do. Come and have friendly and comfortable classes with me, from the comfort of your own home or office, or from anywhere you have a good internet connection

Lessons with me are tailored to your learning style. We will use a variety of books, audio and video files, and your own writing to move the lessons along. Each of our 50 minute lessons will begin with chit chat - talking about your weekend and such, then we will move onto checking the homework, and then dive into the subject of the day's lesson, finally finishing with setting homework (if you are ok with that) and agreeing to the next lesson time. I have been teaching English online for nearly 20 years now, preparing students for their exams, helping them develop their business presentations, or generally becoming more confident in using English for casual conversation. As long as you have a basic level of English, I can help you improve!
