About Kim
I have been a Pattern Maker in the fashion industry for the last 30 years. Over this time I have received many industry awards and achieved accolades of excellence as a designer, pattern maker, couturier and bridal production and manufacture.
With my high level of garment construction and complete understanding of design I have the ability to instruct and train on any garment from start to finish which are skills that are invaluable to future designers, pattern makers and sewers.
It's my passion to teach people the skills to succeed with any fashion item they set their mind to, you'll take away a professional product with a feeling of pride creating a garment you have designed.

I can guide and teach you techniques for all aspects of fashion design. From beginner to advanced, you can set your pace with easy to follow step by step lessons on designing, pattern making , and sewing.
Having studied techniques from Paris, I use refined pattern making and garment construction methods.
You can learn to construct a Basic Block to fit yourself or a standard size, design your garments using your block, you can also learn how to sew for the first time or tackle a more complex garment construction.
Whether you're wanting a one off garment as simple as a dress to creating a dream wedding dress, through to a full clothing collection with tech packs for manufacture, to set your brand on it's way. The choice is yours!
My friendly and approachable nature offers students an enjoyable space to learn.
Lessons can be booked for 1-4hrs depending on the task, with home tasks to get you ahead of your next lesson.
