About Olivia
Hello and welcome! I am a dedicated French instructor with 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Applied Languages in French. I focus on cultural immersion and practical dialogue to help students speak French naturally and confidently.
My lessons are designed to develop idiomatic fluency, so you can express yourself like a native speaker. My teaching approach focuses on making French learning fun, engaging, and easy to remember. I emphasise practical speaking skills for real-life situations, including social interactions, travel, and settling into a new country. Role-play and interactive dialogues are used to make learning lively and relatable. I also integrate listening exercises and multimedia resources to expose students to authentic French pronunciation and accents.
Each lesson is personalised to the student’s pace and interests. I provide guidance, encouragement, and feedback to help them build confidence quickly. Students practise reading, writing, and speaking in a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as steps to improvement.
