About Hugo Fréderic

Hi! I'm Hugo Frédéric, a graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and currently pursuing a Master's in Global Development.

For the past six years, I have been teaching French to students of different ages, backgrounds, and levels, from complete beginners taking their first steps in the language to advanced learners looking to improve their fluency through conversation.

I am a dynamic, enthusiastic, and patient teacher who believes that languages are learnt through practice, interaction, and confidence-building. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and progressing at their own pace.

Every learner is different, which is why I tailor my lessons to each student's goals, interests, and preferred learning style. Whether you are learning French for travel, work, studies, exams, or simply for personal enjoyment, I will adapt the lessons to help you achieve your objectives as effectively as possible.

My experience working with students from a wide variety of backgrounds has taught me that motivation and consistency are key to success. I am committed to making lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable while helping you build real confidence in French.

About the lesson

As a native French speaker, I believe that learning a language goes beyond grammar and vocabulary: it is also about understanding the culture, traditions and everyday life of the country where it is spoken. My classes are tailored to each student's level, goals and learning style, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience. I focus on learning by doing, encouraging students to speak and interact from the very first lesson through practical exercises, real-life conversations and interactive activities. My aim is to help you gain confidence, put your knowledge into practice and learn French in a natural, enjoyable and effective way!
