About Freddle
With 16 years' of drum experience and a Master’s in Performing Arts, I offer a balanced and professional learning environment. I’ve performed in theatre productions, live concerts, and touring ensembles. These experiences influence how I teach performance readiness. My lessons emphasise precision, technique, and musical expression. I help students build strong control and coordination. You will learn proper form, sound production, and dynamics. My teaching style is motivating yet relaxed. I encourage students to challenge themselves without feeling overwhelmed. We work on personalised goals and structured learning plans. I value consistent growth and steady practice habits. Students are guided through multiple musical styles. I help learners develop confidence on and off the stage. Whether you’re preparing for auditions or playing for fun, I’m here to guide you. Watching students transform their abilities is incredibly rewarding. My priority is helping you grow into a skilled and expressive drummer.

My drum lessons are designed to develop students’ technical skills, musicality, and ability to perform confidently both solo and in ensembles. Each lesson is customised for individual goals, whether learning foundational rhythms, refining technique, or preparing for auditions, live shows, or studio recordings. Lessons cover timing, hand independence, stick control, coordination, groove, rhythm reading, dynamics, and expressive phrasing. I integrate song practice, improvisation, play-alongs, and collaborative exercises to provide a well-rounded and practical learning experience. Students receive guidance on effective practice, milestone tracking, and structured routines for steady improvement. My teaching environment is supportive, positive, and motivating, allowing students to take risks, experiment, and develop their personal style. Lessons emphasise listening skills, musical awareness, and the ability to communicate rhythmically and musically with other performers. Students learn problem-solving for complex rhythms, creative expression, and ensemble adaptability. I celebrate progress and milestones to maintain motivation and foster confidence. Drumming is both a technical skill and a medium for artistic expression and collaboration. Each session combines discipline, creativity, and enjoyment, helping students develop independence, versatility, and confidence. Students leave lessons with improved technique, musical understanding, and inspiration to continue growing. My goal is to cultivate expressive, versatile, and confident drummers who can thrive in any musical environment.
