About Charlotte
I am a First Class BA Honours Songwriting degree graduate with over 3 years commercial songwriting experience post graduation.
I have been fascinated by words and songwriting since the young age of 8 and have followed my passion ever since. After graduating from high school I moved down to London at the age of 18 to pursue my career as a songwriter and although it's a challenging industry to break into, I have enjoyed every moment.
Whilst working as a songwriter in London I have not only written 3 songs a week for 3 years, I have been nominated for two music awards and reached the top 10 out of 2000 applicants. As well as my own music being played on BBC Radio Introducing, Amazing Tunes and MTV I have almost 1 million steams on Spotify on a song I wrote for up and coming artist Grace Ackerman.
As well as telling you all about my songwriting process, my aim is to help you discover your own writing style that helps you be as creatively productive as you can be. From whichever level you are starting from, we can really sit down and go over the fundamentals of songwriting and how to utilise your creativity effectively.
We are all incredibly fascinating being and I love that we can learn to process emotions and tell stories through song craft. I would love to go on this journey with you!

I will approach our songwriting lessons by firstly learning about the type of music you would like to write and hearing anything you have previously written. We can then tailor lessons to suit your specific needs as a writer. Whether that be rhyme, word selection, structure, genre etc.
We can start from day 1 or day 203. You can bring me a song every week and we can pull it apart and mould it into what feels right for you and what might feel right commercially.
If you have a child who is a budding songwriter, I'd love to build their skills by working on short songs and poems to begin with then moving at a pace which suits their needs and desires.
