About Matthew
I am a stop motion animator, with a side speciality in traditional animation. I have experience both as a character animator on films, and as a commercial animator, for clients such as LEGO. I have a first class degree in animation.
Above all, I am passionate about animation and illustration. I am eager to bring your work to the next level.

About the lesson

My targeted approach begins by evaluating the current level of the student and listening to personal goals. From here we will engage in a series of personalised animation exercises to strengthen weaknesses, and identify personal flair. We will review in depth each attempt, and then collaborate to animate something together, walking through the thought process. Adjacent to direct animation work, we will explore silhouettes, posing, and appeal in animation.
