About Jon
After being a hobbyist photographer for many years and spending much of my professional career as a coach, I decided to combine the two and go back to college to do an HND in photography. I have been taking individuals and small groups on workshops and mini breaks with a view to giving as much hands-on experience as possible in this practical subject

My workshops are not classroom based. These are field trips/ workshops where you will learn as you go. These are supplemented with visual aids, cue cards, and lesson notes. To ensure each student gets dedicated attention I restrict my group sessions to a maximum of three people. Various locations are visited during these workshops and although transport is preferred it can be arranged for an additional cost. Students will learn how to correctly expose a photograph in all types of light and some basic elements of post-processing using Adobe Lightroom.
