About Saki
Hello! My name is Saki, and I’m a Japanese tutor from Japan.
I studied English at a university of foreign studies and have also had experience living abroad. Because I have studied a foreign language myself, I understand both the fun and the challenges of learning a new language, as well as the difficulties that can come from cultural differences.
In my lessons, I will help you learn Japanese through conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary in a fun and easy-to-understand way, based on your level and goals. Complete beginners are very welcome! When necessary, I can also use English to explain Japanese clearly.
Whether you want to have natural conversations with Japanese people, learn Japanese for your trip to Japan, or enjoy Japanese anime and culture even more, I will create lessons that match your individual goals.

Teaching Methods & Techniques
My lessons focus mainly on conversation, so students can practise speaking as much Japanese as possible. I will gently correct mistakes and explain grammar and expressions clearly in English when necessary.
Typical Lesson Plan
We usually start with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. Then, we learn new vocabulary and useful expressions based on the day’s topic. After that, we practise using them in real conversations, followed by a short review at the end of the lesson.
What Makes My Lessons Special
Since I have experience learning a foreign language myself, I understand the difficulties that language learners often face. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and speaking Japanese without worrying about being perfect. I focus on creating a friendly, relaxed, and enjoyable learning environment.
