About Jin
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. Growing up, I tutored English for many years, and teaching became something I LOVED. Because I wanted to be a professor, I moved to the United States and earned a PhD. Now I'm living my dream as a college professor, and I also love sharing Korean language and culture with students who are curious and excited to learn. I teach Korean because I genuinely enjoy sharing my language. I truly believe that Hangul is very innovative and surprisingly easy to learn once you understand the foundation. My goal is to make learning Korean relatable, enjoyable, and meaningful, so every student feels confident using the language in real life.

An Nyeong Ha Se Yo! :)
I create lessons that are 100% tailored to you and your goals.
In our first session, we’ll talk about what you want to achieve and how you want to learn.
I’ll ask questions like:
1. How fluent do you want to become?
2. How quickly would you like to reach your goal?
3. How much time can you dedicate to learning?
4. What are your personal interests (for example, if you love cooking, we can focus on Korean food vocabulary and kitchen phrases)?
TOGETHER, we’ll design a plan that makes learning Korean practical, fun, and meaningful for you.
I guarantee you will enjoy the journey and achieve your goals with me.
