About Beixi
Five years ago, I came to the UK for uni and realised textbook English didn’t match real-life. I struggled to express myself naturally, and that’s when I understood: language learning is more than grammar and vocabulary — it’s about real communication. I learnt English slang from local friends and shared Chinese culture with them. Teaching a friend Mandarin before his China trip was amazing, seeing him converse confidently in six months showed me how powerful learning through interest can be. I love starting lessons from topics you enjoy, building vocabulary, correcting pronunciation, and helping you speak naturally. Interest is the best teacher, and that’s the energy I bring to every lesson.
