About Daniel
I am currently studying at the conservatory of the National University of Colombia and have been in the world of music for more than 10 years, in which I have acquired extensive orchestral and chamber music experience. Thanks to this, I have played in the most important auditoriums in Bogotá and in some departments of the country, I even participated in the UN Anniversary Concert held in New York City. I have had the opportunity to transmit my knowledge on multiple occasions as a teacher, receiving a very positive response from my students.
In addition, in my university major I have had a comprehensive training in various fields of music, (Harmony, Counterpoint, Choir, History, Jazz, Contemporary, Traditional Colombian, Solfeggio, Arrangements, Orchestration ...) which means that I can bring you many tools in your training process.

The main goal of my methodology is to help you feel comfortable with your instrument so that you can convey something through the music you play.
Initially, I will seek to generate a "spark" of interest in you as a student during each class, as this will enhance your attention and your learning process. To achieve this, at the beginning I will know some basic aspects about your tastes and aspirations, generating a starting point and helping effectively with what you want to achieve.
Once this interest is obtained, we will begin to work hard on our position when playing, since the relationship of our body with the instrument will be fundamental in the process. Through examples of everyday situations you will understand that it is easier than it seems and you will feel very good when practicing.
Finally, throughout the entire process you will play pieces according to your level and progressively increasing their difficulty (with this we will not lose MOTIVATION). In addition, I will help you to play some works or songs in which you are interested, always maintaining a good technique and interpretation. At the same time, we will see what is necessary in music theory and grammar so that you can easily read a score.
