About Matheus
Hello everyone! I have been teaching English since 2015 having worked on courses like CNA and Wise Up. I had the opportunity to take a course in Corporate Finance and Business English at New York State University in New Paltz in 2017 that added a lot to my knowledge of world.

I base my classes on communicative methods that give the student full agency power - you are the central actor of the class. I have had experiences with all age groups - children, teenagers, adults and better age. The best way to learn a language is to expose yourself to real-life content. For this reason, I widely use contents that are clippings from day-to-day so that the student sees the use of the language in everyday life and knows how to speak English as it really is. In addition, I usually bring a great focus on pronunciation so that the student reduces his accent. It is important to remember that it is not a problem to have an accent and it is only indicative of where you are from, but having a good articulation and having a clean speech means knowing how to be understood, which is the main objective of learning a language.
