About Emma
Bonjour ! I'm Emma, a native French speaker that started on a fantastic international journey that led her to meet amazing people, so interested in her and her culture that she began to teach it and got more passionate about it every day. One of the most beautiful things I've heard was my student, telling me I was their absolute favorite teacher. And every time I've heard that, my heart grew bigger. Maybe I can become yours too :)

Through lessons planned and adapted to each of my students, I aim to accompany you in your goals but even further - speak the language, live the culture, speak like a true French. Thanks to my numerous experiences with my students from all ages and backgrounds - from Australia to the USA, I've developed a taste in finding a way to reach each of my students in their bubble. I don't believe in generic lessons, we'll get to know each other as you'll make progress. We will work on the 4 skills required in any language learning: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. My lessons plan to integrate these naturally, always taking French material as our supports. Thanks to my theoretical knowledge of language techniques, duly acquired at university for my master, and my experiences, forged during amazing interactions in class and online, we will tailor to your needs and make sure you leave every session with something new to be inspired by. If you've never learned French, or forgotten all about it, we will start together. The most important is to show up. If your goal is to work and progress for a specific exam, my work experiences have led me to work with students preparing for their VCE and French baccalauréat. If your goal is to progress to verbalize your thoughts in French, we will make sure to create a comfortable set-up to develop various and passionate conversations, the way French people know how to do so well. We will be using a platform like Google Meet for our lessons. Lessons duration will be depending on your needs, and how you feel, week by week, sometimes day by day.
