About ゆふ
Hi! I'm Yufu, a native Japanese speaker with a strong background in English. I spent part of my elementary school years in the United States, where I learned English through everyday life and communication. This experience gave me not only English language skills, but also an understanding of what it feels like to live and communicate in a different language and culture. Today, I work as an English instructor in Japan. I teach English to students and also work closely with international teachers, supporting them with communication and helping bridge the gap between Japanese and English-speaking environments. Because of my own experience learning and using both languages, I understand that speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating. That's why I want my lessons to be relaxed, friendly, and encouraging. If you're just beginning to learn Japanese, don't worry — I can explain things and support you in English whenever you need it. I'd love to help you learn the Japanese that people actually use in everyday life, while also sharing Japanese culture and helping you feel more confident communicating in Japan. We can practice situations such as: ・Ordering food at restaurants ・Checking into a hotel ・Shopping ・Asking for directions ・Using trains and public transportation ・Talking with Japanese people You can even tell me about your travel plans, and we can practice Japanese specifically for your trip. Conversation Practice Don't worry about making mistakes! My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can enjoy speaking Japanese and gradually become more confident. We can talk about food, travel, hobbies, Japanese culture, daily life — or anything you're interested in. Beginners are very welcome! You don't need to speak Japanese before taking my lesson.
