About María del Carmen
Hi! I’m Mai, I’m originally from Málaga in the south of Spain and I’ve been living in the UK for several years. Spanish is my first language and I’d love to help people learn it in a relaxed and friendly way.
I know learning a language can feel awkward at first, so I want my lessons to be somewhere you can just have a go, make mistakes and ask as many questions as you need. I’m especially happy to help beginners and people who want to become more confident actually speaking Spanish.

Hi! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain and I offer relaxed, informal Spanish lessons for beginners. I can help you with conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary and all the little phrases that people actually use in everyday life.
We can take things at your own pace and focus on whatever you want to improve. I’m very friendly and there’s absolutely no judgement if your Spanish currently consists of “una cerveza por favor” Making mistakes is part of learning!
Whether you’re learning for holidays, work, family or just for fun, I’d love to help you feel more confident speaking Spanish.
