About Oli
I've been playing in bands since i was 15 and in college, mostly doing funk, rock and prog/noise rock. (Heavy hitting stuff) This has lead me to be a versitile and recognisable drummer. The gigs didn't pay so i got into teaching, which turned out to be a natural thing for me and got great results and many happy students! I'm an experienced tutor at this point (hence why i'm more pricey than other tutors on here) and am after 2 more ambitious students to fill up a couple of days.

Oli Cocup is recognised as one of the most versatile and reliable drummers in the South West. He is an experienced tutor, offers high quality recordings and bang on live performances.
Oli has been teaching privately and in schools for the past 8 years and playing for the past 20(!) he specialises in odd time signatures and applying rudiments, as well as simply teaching whatever his students want to learn. His students range from 7 all the way to deaths door and makes learning fun and approachable.
With an extensive collection of gear (2 drum kits opposite each-other in the private studio), a full UK driving license (wheels to match) and 20 years behind a kit, I’m good to go. Check out what I do, what I have done and get in touch to see what we can do together!

I charge £22.50 for half an hour, £29.50 for 45 min and £40 for the hour.
I do not do 30mins for free, as i can teach you a LOT in 30 mins!
