About Carla
I'm a native Spanish speaker, grew up in Guatemala and love to meet new people. I hold an MBA from UC Berkeley so also happy to connect on applying to business school and general experience there.
We can be as structured or unstructured as you prefer. In my book, the most important thing is to start listening and practicing speaking as soon as possible.

We can take different approaches, but I'll have you speaking quick!
In the past, students have loved just having a friendly conversation where we catch up as friends and I correct any mistakes and share the grammar rules that explain them.
If you're using Spanish for work or business we can also talk shop. As a startup founder and product manager myself, I'm always happy to dive into any projects you have at hand.
Lastly, I'll teach you all the best pickup lines to use when you travel ;)
I offer high quality one-on-one tutorials for primary, high school and university students and professionals, as well as company-based group lessons.
Happy to meet in person as well if you're within the Manhattan / Williamsburg area.
Well versed in AP Spanish language and AP Spanish literature and happy to help with homework for those too.
