About PINA
I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Sciences with a Major in Psychology in 1998. After completion of my degree I became certified to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL, 1999).
Since then, I have facilitated conversation circles with groups of ESL students and worked with students individually privately and at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario CANADA.
Over the last 3 years I have been an online English teacher with 2 different Chinese schools. Currently I teach ESL for OLS (Online Language School, Shenzhen, China) where I have received a teacher of the year award.
For more than 2 years my family and I have hosted several ESL students. While living in our home, students are encouraged to use English as they engage with us daily.

Keen students will work with a teacher who has more than 20 years experience working in the classroom and online. These classes are for students who are eager to practice their pronunciation, learn English grammar and understand the history of the English language.
How did it develop? How did it become an international language? How do we learn English?
Through discussions, videos and visuals students engage with an expert ESL teacher to learn English through active participation.
The student is encouraged to pronounce words properly by gentle and consistent correction.
Every class includes active conversation and step-by-step intensive grammar lessons. Students are encouraged to develop their reading skills and practice pronunciations through visual mimicking of the teacher. Using these methods, students quickly develop a keen and natural ability to speak the English language.

Lessons are online and for 30 minutes. Each lesson is $10. Advanced students may request 45 minute and 1 hour lessons.
