About Florence
I am a retired teacher and social worker. I specialized in small group and 1:1 classes and taught many subjects from French, communication to English as a second language and even was a substitute teacher in Math and history. With over 25 years of experience in teaching, I have encountered just about every student profile or situation! I have lived 3 years in Australia in the 90's and am conversational in English. I have traveled to dozens of countries and am passionate about languages, always learning a new one. I am currently learning Italian after finishing the Spanish class in Duolingo!

On our first session, we will evaluate your level, your goals, and your interests, then I will build a personalized plan to build up your vocabulary, grammar, understanding and oral expression while correcting any bad habits. Whether you want to ace an exam, move to France or simply enjoy learning a new language, we will build a plan for you. As a retired teacher and social worker, I have spent my career teaching small groups of adults and teenagers of different levels.
