About Gillian
I have been playing professionally and teaching for about thirty years. Many of my pupils have started with me as complete beginners and gone through the complete exam system. Many of the local amateur players are currently coming for lessons to brush up their technique or to learn symphonies.

I teach all levels and all ages. I especially enjoy teaching adults from total beginners right up to highly skilled amateur orchestral players. I focus on correct technique so that my pupils do not suffer from physical problems caused by the violin. I also allow my pupils to choose their own repertoire wherever possible.

Perfect! Only one lesson so far, but felt at ease right away and was kindly leant music to practice until next week. Looking forward to the next one.
