About Stone
Hi my name is Stone. I am from Hong Kong and living in the UK. I have basically self-taught Japanese myself until I can watch anime without subtitles, read books and play video games. I got an A in Japanese studies when I went to study in Tokyo for a semester, and I am at JLPT N1.

I believe language is a skill more than knowledge. Other than practising it regularly you need to actively infuse it into your daily life to be good at it. Unless requested I seldom teach by the textbooks, instead I draw inspiration from students' daily life and connect it with the language. I love to throw in bits of cultural differences as well, since a language is not complete without its culture. Which is especially true for Japanese because its meaning is deeply rooted in context.
