About James
Got a H1 in Leaving Cert Business Studies and went on to achieve a 1.1 in Commerce, followed by a 1.1 in the MSc Corporate Finance program at University of Galway. I currently work as an Investment Analyst, giving me both a strong academic background and practical experience in business. Gave grinds to 3 students in 2026 where they achieved H1, H1 and H2 respectively. I couldn’t be more proud of them!

Live Interactive Lessons via Zoom: Clear explanations and real-time problem solving.
Mock Tests: Timed practice to improve confidence, time management, and exam technique.
I would describe my teaching style as relaxed and easy going, I like to create a calm environment to allow for full concentration. I think this is critical when working on exam questions.
For Business, I intend to place a large focus on the ABQ and achieving maximum marks in it, as it's widely considered the most difficult part of the exam.
Each lesson lasts one hour, with a
combination of examinable content, practice questions and exam techniques.
