About Amir
For many years I was a nuclear physics (with Maths/computing) researcher and lecturer at universities. For the past few years I have also been teaching and tutoring in physics, maths and Applied Sciences (BTEC) at A-Levels and university degree levels.

After initially determining the knowledge level and ability of the student, I design a tuition plan based upon those criteria. My philosophy is to ensure the student learns the core and fundamental concepts of a subject so that he/she then would be able to deal with any related problem, as opposed to just tackling a specific problem today. In other words, I believe in teaching the student to fish for himself/herself every day of his/her life as opposed to give him/her a fish for just a few days!
