About Jean
I am a lecturer in Computer Science with one year of teaching experience as a lecturer and around five years as a teaching assistant. I predominantly teach programming and software engineering courses. I hold an associate fellowship in higher education academy which is awarded to individuals with the skills to apply best teaching practices. Besides, I have a one year experience from the industry where I worked as a professional software developer.

I give lessons suitable for the very beginners (age 10+) to advanced lessons in programming and software engineering. My methodology of teaching is aligned with the research in educational psychology. I like to develop student’s knowledge based on what they already know, and adjust their mental model to understand complex topics in computing. I am flexible to adjust the level of my teaching to the knowledge level of my student.
