About Sarah
My name is Sarah and I am currently a PhD Student at the University of Leeds. I have a PGCE in Secondary Education in French and Spanish, a Ba(Hons) in French and Spanish Studies from the Lancaster University and a Masters Degree in Professional Language and Intercultural Studies from the University of Leeds.
I have a wealth of experience in tutoring and teaching all ages and abilities and I look forward to helping language learners achieve their potential. Furthermore, I understand the skills needed to succeed in language exams in the U.K. and can offer tuition to support all Key Stages of language study.

I am fully qualified to teach French and Spanish to Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 (Year 7 to 13) and have extensive knowledge of current AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A Level exam specifications. I use a variety of tools to teach my students which are all based on the individual's strengths and weaknesses, in addition to ensuring that all four key skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) are covered in the sessions. My sessions are interactive and engaging with a focus on building a strong grammatical and lexical foundation so that students feel confident speaking and writing as quickly as possible.
