I am specialised in teaching young children and I love to make lessons interesting and interactive.
Music Theory can be challenging for young children and perceived as boring.
But, it is what makes learning an instrument way easier and more interesting (it gives you the reason why we play some notes together, why music sounds good? Why do we write notes in that particular way) etc.
If you're studying any musical instrument an early start in music theory will definitively help and once you get to grade 5 in you're instrument you'll be ready for grade 5 in music theory too.

I am a professional singer and lyricist since 2014 I am a teacher of Music Theory at the Bromley conservatoire since September 2020. I have been teaching music privately to pupils for more or less 5 years so far and I am always keeping up to date with the newest teaching methodologies.
