About Timothy
My journey teaching English began in Austria, 2017. I was at first a student teacher, where I honed my ability and moulded my talent; later becoming a senior teacher, where I would help those who were then in a similar position to what I once was.
That experience lent perspective to myself, allowing me to truly feel the gratification of teaching and moulding young lives, preparing them for the road ahead.
I like to get to know my students; and the first lesson being free will be mostly us discussing your needs and wants. Where you see your ability in 5 weeks from now, for example. This time will be well spent as it will allow me to forge lessons appropriate for you.
I like to leave some time between lessons; for you to practice what you've learnt and to allow myself proper time to prepare the next lesson for you.

Usually, I would like to have a lesson or two where we casually talk as to familiarise ourselves better. After this, using taken notes and relevant topics discussed, I can begin to create a lesson with content tailored to you. Homework is a possibility if desired or required. Other services such as recordings of lessons, materials etc. can also be organised. All pending further discussion, of course.
I am patient and believe it is important to have an understanding of a broad vocabulary. This will enable creativity and can fuel interest in English. I also believe it is pivotal for learners to broaden their vocabulary as without one, your English is limited. Knowing the rules used is no good if you have no words to use them with!
