I approach tutoring by first looking over the whole syllabus and dividing up sections by those which will require more time and effort towards and areas which may have already been touched upon previously by the student to dedicate and set out a lesson plan across the time from first meeting my student to the examination period.
I teach English by stimulating natural conversation and correcting in real time, the focus is using correct grammar, expanding knowledge of vocabulary and expressions, avoiding common errors and naturalising pronunciation. We will use a variety of real-life materials and you will be exposed to natural English spoken by both native and non native speakers.
My approach is a holistic one, tackling not only academic achievements but to stir in them an enthusiasm to learn, to develop a self-driven attitude in them that is beneficial in the working world-- all these are a product of the benefit of foresight I believe I possess.
My teaching methodology is very simple. First, I present the theory/grammar and ensure you understand the concept. Then, we do some tasks together related to the theory/grammar we have covered. This is where we clear up any doubts you may have. Finally, we perform tasks and engage in activities where your newfound knowledge is tested.
I base my lessons on the child's or adults class exercises such as homework or preparing for an exam or presentation. I would also be open to teaching someone without any prior German language skills or classes. My methodology when it comes to teaching is a calm approach along with a set routine to insure long lasting results.
I plan to tailor my teaching style to the individual needs of my students. Each lesson will be start and finish with a mini test, allowing us to assess you current knowledge of the subject and to track your progress.
My method depends on the individual and the distance between us. If close, meeting up for teaching sessions would be ideal- however with a busy schedule, and distance being a problem I have facilitated skype teaching sessions in the past that have worked perfectly.
Initial lessons will be to gauge where we will be starting from, and from then uniquely tailored lesson plans can be created. I prefer 2 hour sessions, and will supply a tightly scheduled lesson that will target weaknesses first - then pinpoint areas to adapt and improve to help achieve the highest grades possible.

The most important element for me, as a tutor is to take care and appreciate what really need my students. I try to adapt to each of them, understand their difficulties and help to further their own objective. I’m flexible to any skill, which you desire to improve: speaking, writing, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation… And my strongest quality is to be very patient.

I think the easy way to deliver everything is to break the barriers. Therefore, I intend to remove the boundaries. I listen to the students to know what they keen to know, then I plan accordingly. I teach all the levels.
How I like to teach is to begin with what the student knows so that I have a basis to build on. I really encourage the student to ask as many questions as possible because no question is too silly and that way we can bring any potential gaps in their knowledge. It's also important to ensure they know the basics and that we're on the same page.
