About An
I’m a Fine Art graduate and professional artist with 4+ years of experience teaching drawing and art, both in small classes and one-to-one lessons.
Alongside my own artistic practice, I’ve also worked as a research assistant in art history after graduating, and spent 3 years studying and working as a graphic designer in Kyoto, Japan.
I enjoy working with students who want to develop their skills and ideas seriously. I’m happy to meet students at different stages, from those building their foundations to artists looking for more individual guidance.
Outside of art, I’m a cat and book lover, currently with 0 cats and too many books.

Drawing & Sketching:
For teens and adults who want to seriously develop their drawing skills and build a strong foundation. Lessons will help you improve your observational skills and drawing technique, while building a foundation that can support whatever media and style you want to develop in.
Oil Painting:
For students who already have a good foundation in drawing and want to learn oil painting. Lessons will focus on colour, value, brushwork, layering and different painting techniques, and we’ll explore together the styles and themes that interest you.
Artistic Development:
For artists who want guidance in developing their own visual language, motifs and style. I can provide feedback and discussion around your existing work, help you develop ideas that are uniquely yours, and guide you in making more deliberate artistic and visual decisions.
