I approach topics by first showing why the concept is important and then proceeding to related abstract concepts to specific real world applications. I aim to make learning fun as I believe learning can indeed be fun. I like working with enthusiastic students who are willing to gain knowledge and to learn.
Practise based, visually and audible. I will test but attempted to expand on key aspects with homework, extra research. There can be plenty of right answer, but a few very wrong ones.
I implement techniques that I've learnt from my teachers over the years, as well as my own personal approach which have helped me in my own exams. Every student has a unique approach to learning, and so it's important that this is found and utilised by myself and the student.
In a world where there are many competing stimuli for a students attention, I believe it is important to deliver the subject in an exciting and relevant way whilst fully covering the content of any examination syllabus. I use humour and my own lifelong enthusiasm for the subject to deliver the syllabus and retain the students interest. I use up to date examples and make full use of IT.
My teaching method is based on a lot of practise questions, going through the specification and then creating revision cards for each student for their exams
Having started my teaching career working with special needs students, I know that the is no ‘one size fits all’ method to teaching. Every student learns in their own unique way and my aim is to inspire every student. I truly believe that the Arts should be accessible for all and always make it my undertaking to encourage and nurture the most nervous to the most outgoing student.
I cater my lessons to individual's needs and what their needs and abilities are. It can be anything from basic start to full opening of computer hardware and detailed and practical learning.
With such an active subject, I prefer to take an active approach that relies on physical understanding of the script - working through lines and emotions as well as imagining set design and discussing with students on a mutual level the actual meaning of the script
As a warm and friendly tutor, I attempt to modernise teaching methods and bring a more relaxed feeling to the classroom - encouraging students to ask questions and give answers. Lessons will start with a brief fact test on previous lessons before working on knowledge and writing technique.
My method is based on individual needs and requests, and I am willing to make the lesson topic specific or more focused on exam techniques. I completely understand that with certain topics you simply need for the information to be conveyed in a different way in order to wrap your head around it.
My support methodology is to listen and adapt to the student. Learning styles vary from person to person, and my approach is not a "one size fits all!" Extra support can make all the difference to individuals who want to achieve their qualifications.
I can teach students of any ability. If your levels are low then I will make sure they become higher, if they are high then I'll make sure they reach the top. In any case, you will improve. I teach a large variety of subjects from iMedia, Sciences, English to Maths and History.
I will first begin by teaching you how to write the essays and how to structure the answers. I have books and hand-outs which I will pass on to the student for free. I will then ask you to write an essay so I can understand your problem areas and attempt to improve upon them. English is one of the harder GCSE subjects and can mostly be improved through practice.
Different people study differently. I will use my first session to find out how you study and then I will use the most effective method.

I am looking to give lessons who those studying all the way up to A level. I believe in a robust structure of analysing facts to answer questions, taking into account the who's, why's and what's of each source and how they are relevant to the question.
I am offering lessons to those at A-Level (or equivalent) and below. I aim to help students understand difficult concepts by breaking them down in to easy to understand pieces. I also can aid in essay writing as I have much experience due to my academic history.
My main aim is to simplify each subject that I teach. I noticed when in school/college too much time was spent overcomplicating certain areas of education without being taught fundamental knowledge that was crucial to achieve high grades. I base my classes on two main objectives.
I am able to support children with any school homework. I can support them with subjects that they have found difficult at school. I like to include lots of games in my teaching so that children enjoy their learning! Followed by practice questions to assess that children's understanding has improved.
For all children, I like to focus on making cricket enjoyable and teaching them the basic skills they need to enjoy cricket. Each child has their own way of completing the necessary skills and I aim to coach around what is already there rather than following a text book. For many adults, the main focus is getting back in to cricket and building confidence. I want everyone to enjoy cricket.
Just to try and explain things on their level and try and make it fun, but relaxed. ... .. ...
My teaching method is individual as I adapt my style and approach to the needs and understanding of each child/young adult. Every individual will pick things up at a different pace.
My approach to tutoring is to tailor each session to support my student’s needs as well as build upon their strengths. I support them to boost their self-esteem and confidence in order to reach their full potential.

I teach cima professional, management and strategic level students. Based on this, I plan my lectures ahead , add real life examples and explain the underlying concepts in easy day to day language to make thick topics digestible. The basic principle I keep in my view is to cover the related syllabus so that you are fully prepared for your exam, whether CBE or Case study.
