My names Shannon Blastland my email address is: (concealed information) I am offering to teach individuals looking for help with their English GCSE's! My techniques are varied but I go at the best pace for you, I am also able to work on subjects that are especially difficult. My teaching styles are also varied on what you prefer, I can be fun easy going...
The first lesson will cover kitchen basics, like food hygiene and knife skills. We will also discuss what you would like to learn, and set up a training program to suit. No experience necessary! All levels can be looked after.
I have experience in working with children who are on the autism spectrum. I have basic Speech and Language Therapy skills and work alongside SALT workers and Teachers to enhance these skills in order to help children be as successful as can be.
I currently give lessons to secondary school students but I'm interested in tutoring beyond that, to students that are currently undergoing their A-levels or are in University, if they are studying in my strongest areas of History and Politics. This could include looking over essay plans, making recommendations, offering sources for a student to look at that would help with research.
I teach in various methods and in a way that suits the individual learner.
My teaching is always catered for the learners individual needs to ensure they are learning at the pace to suit them in addition to ensuring the right resources are in place to promote effective learning. E. G. Use of adapted resources such as enlargements, coloured printed work.
I will ensure that my classes are fun and enjoyable for all because i've learned through playing football that if you enjoy yourself and help the people around you, you are more likely to succeed which is what my classes will be about.
I'm sociable and I like to have a good and cooperative relationship with the student. I the last couple of years I had students from different ages. So I worked before with 10 years till 50 years old. Patience was the key for everything.
I primarily teach academic English and study skills. This is a unique combination that can teach you the skills to improve your written university assignments such as essays, dissertations and MA/PhD theses. As someone who has previously taught at university, I know what is required to obtain high grades and can pass this knowledge on to my tutees.
My students gain qualifications but, more importantly, they enjoy a lifelong interest and curiosity in their subjects.
I structure my lessons to individual needs, highlighting difficult areas and trying to make them more interesting. This way it is likely to stay in the forefront of the students mind for when that information is required. I firmly believe that you learn more if the experience is fun and enjoyable with specific tasks set for each individual.
Over 15 years teaching experience with secondary and further education. I have worked in primary, secondary and further education sectors teaching the following subjects: Health and Social Care, Physical Education, Citizenship and Child Care. I also have experience of teaching on a one to one basis and private teaching.
I am relaxed and friendly. I look for the humour in every situation. I am an expert at helping to tailor teacher to individual needs.
I like to challenge and stretch my students.
I based my topics on real life businesses and analyse the problem they face. What theories can be used to solve problems etc. All discussion and critical thinking based.
My teaching method is that we go at your pace, what you would like to learn and working around your education so that what you’re confident with is not constantly repeated and we focus of your weaknesses.
My teaching method is FUN. I have noticed that within the year experience of music lessons I have given in my local area, that kids CANNOT learn if the lessons are boring! My lesson structure involves a powerpoint and I also provide sheets on word to print of for the student or class.
I am a current A-Level Student who is finishing my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. My teaching styles are adaptive allowing each session to be tailored to how you learn best, so you can achieve your best! They will be informative, fun and helpful.
I like to use lot of verbal and writing exercise..
My teaching method is based on a client centred approach, I believe demonstrating my knowledge then allowing others to alter health behaviours is healthy for the maintenance of change.
To find a fun way to love maths
This is my first time doing this and I feel like whatever you all need to learn I can help you with it and any enquiries you have I can help
My teaching is based on the student’s individual needs and lessons are planned to help them achieve their personal goals and targets.
My method of teaching would be in whichever way you as a student would be most comfortable. If a more structured class is how you learn best that is how I'll teach. If you prefer something more informal or with activities, then that is how I'll teach. Happy to be student led.
Guide them to what the want to be not what someone else want them to be they should choose there own path but I will be there to help
You will gain new understanding, see things in context, and create much improved work. My approach is tailored to my students: I find the problem areas and give new understanding - with understanding comes the ability to use knowledge. I am an easy going person with a smile. I have experience with online teaching by now as well.
I teach up to and including GCSE level students. I do this by discovering my students individual learning style (as everybody learns differently) and try to tailor my teaching to suit the student. I have many methods for each subject I teach so can always try something else if you don't understand.
The lessons are targeting undergraduate students and college students alike undertaking a course in biology. During my lessons I constantly try to make a connection between the theoretical side and the practical one in order to promote the logical understanding.
I am currently studying in Upton Court Grammar School aspiring to be a paediatrician one day. I have experience working at AE tuition with kids from year 3 to 5, teaching them English, VA, NVR, Maths and advanced Maths. I also have a lot of experience working with kids one to one preparing them for their SATS and GCSE'S. I believe the key to success is determination.
I approach each topic individually, i try as much to relate whatever topic am teaching to real life experience including Algebra
