I have been a computer teacher for 10 years. Having taught Secondary school students in Microsoft Office and graphics, more recently moving into computing and teaching about how the computer works rather than how the software works. I have not only taught Business for 10 years but previous to teaching I also worked in retail. I therefore ensure that when I'm teaching the subject I explain the terms using real life examples and experience. I find this not only helps the explanation become more interesting but the student believe and remember it better.
I have a flexible methodology depending on the student's level, I have a lean lesson structure that focuses primarily on the students weak points to develop these and ensure the student understands the full breadth and depth of the specification.
I focus on the weak points of a student and help develop these factors, I also advise the student on methods and tasks they can use to help with examinations. I have a flexible methodology depending on the students level.

From there I use a range of teaching styles to help engage students in the learning and embed skills knowledge and understanding needed to achieve their potential. I believe everyone has the potential to achieve they just need the right support and opportunity to flourish.

I went to North Halifax Grammar School and then Later Huddersfield University where I received a 2:1 in Psychology. My methods and techniques vary depending on the ability and level a student is working at.
The way I will teach is by looking over the subjects that the student is struggling with and working with them step by step to ensure that they are able to understand the topic. I generally believe that very structured plans are unhelpful - instead I think it's much better to not limit teaching on time. What I mean by this is that if a student struggles on a particular concept, it's much more worthwhile building up confidence on that area before moving on.
