My teaching method is to show complete support and motivation to every student. I will offer lessons up to GCSE level and will target the subjects in which the student is struggling with. I would plan my lessons beforehand, focusing on the content in which the student doesn't fully comprehend.

Hi, I am a 2nd year MSci chemistry student at the Univeristy of Nottingham. I mainly tutor GCSE maths and all three sciences but am happy to help at all levels. I believe in finding the learning style that works best for each student as everyone has their own way of understanding the world.
The word teaching to me seems to be something of a false word within the context of learning. Mentoring or coaching seems to cover the bases much more broadly. Individually is what makes us great, no lesson should be tailored to a group but the needs and the desires of the individual. Every individual learns at a different rate, everyone has a different thought process.
I offer help on what the student want to know. We can work on a project together. I will advise them of the best tools to use for a particular job.
I always go one step at a time and try to make learning fun. I encourage people to feel comfortable saying they do or do not understand something, which I think is important with tutoring as often times the student will just one to move on to the next topic.
Teaching mathematics is one simple job. All you have to do is learn the content and then use it repeatedly. Sessions with me will start with learning about the topic you are struggling with, what facts you need to know, and lots of examples. I will produce a problem sheet that you can then work your way through steadily.
I am a recent undergraduate from the University of Exeter. I read French and Mandarin Chinese. I have spoken French since the age of 3 as my Father is French. For me the whole process is about building confidence. Children will always thrive when they feel they can do it! Small steps set within achievable timeframes has always been my key to all the children I have taughts, success. I enjoy building confidence in a child’s ability to succeed. My main motto would be ... if we grow our confidence we have confidence to grow.
I am a very patient person, and so I am happy to work through the material at the pace that best suits the student. I will make sure the student understands the subject matter before moving on, and will come across in a friendly and approachable way.
Children learn best when they are confident in themselves. Therefore, as I teach each new aspect of a subject, I build their confidence and esteem. I am willing to help others to pass Mathematics.
I am a trainee teacher in my second year. My tutoring will be created individually for each child ensuring that we are focusing on the progression and depth of understanding.
I try to keep my lessons active to keep the student engaged and enhance the amount of knowledge they take in. The lesson structures differ depending on the subject, however, they all encompass warm up activities and at the end a recap just to ensure everything has been understood.
My teaching method is very student specific. Within art I think it’s very useful to get the student to find their style so I give pointers and advice.

My lessons are individually tailored to each student. Helping them understand the subject is more important to me than going through it to fast.
