My teaching method is interactive where learning through open dialogue, answering questions and thus gaining your own confidence to be able to reteach the lesson to someone else is key.
Trying to utilise my knowledge and teaching resources to explain the topic in detail, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
I am currently working as a specialist extended scope musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the NHS. Trained to an Masters in Science (MSc) level, working towards Musculoskeletal association of chartered physiotherapists) MACP membership.
I involve the learner through engaging with their interests and at a level and pace that they are comfortable with. I believe that every learner is an individual and my learning styles will be responsive to each student to ensure that they are actively involved throughout.
I give lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. My teaching method is helping students build ideas to gain a holistic view of the subject, as well as making revision much more efficient and helpful. I am a calm and patient teacher eager to explain areas of the subject in suitable detail.
have a strong grudge with the education system's way of teaching these topics at both GCSE and A level. This comes from my personal belief in creative teaching. Creative teaching induces creative learning methods which can help students learn difficult abstract concepts more easily.
Tutoring Approach: I truly believe that tutoring plays a significant role in learning and allowing students to achieve the grades they are capable of. Every student studies in a different way and has their own way of learning. I have noticed this by seeing the way i study, compared to my friends and also other students I tutor.
I teach with technology where I can, showing diagrams and models to better understand perspective and detail where possible. I am also able to teach with whiteboards or with just textbooks being able to explain and help understand the details.
I approach each topic or concept differently. Some topics need to taught with diagrams and some topics can be taught just by bullet points. Also, everyone works differently. Some students like mind maps, some don't. Once I know which concepts are difficult for you and which method of learning suits you the best, then I will make sure that you have fully grasped the concept as soon as possible.
I like to adapt my teaching style to the student and what bests suits them. For example, if they learn better from a visual approach, I'll tutor them using that approach. As an individual I'm a very friendly and relaxed person.
My teaching method is interactive and engaging (can be fun too), alongside the pupil being able to ask as many questions as possible. I am looking to give lessons to all ages up to IB, however, before each lesson, I will need to be provided with what topic the pupil would like to cover, preferably with a one day allowance to prepare the correct material.
I have a First class degree (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and experience in pharmaceutical industry. If you are looking for GCSE and Alevel biology, chemistry or applied science lessons, I can help. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.
I hold an honours degree in Biomedical Science plus a diploma in Operating Department Practice. I have given tutorials for classes of around 12 to 15 university students however, I am offering a one-to-one tutorial for a more tailored approach for Biology students studying up to A-level.
I like to base my classes according to the preferences of the student. Before each class, I ask the student which particular topics they are finding difficult or would like to focus on more and so I then use most of the lesson time to cover those topics. I like to continuously quiz the student as I teach so I get an understanding of their knowledge and level.
I always like to get to know my students properly first - everyone is different and so my approach needs to be tailored accordingly. I try to create a professional yet enjoyable productive session. As a student myself, I know how students think and what works best.
I am a friendly, flexible, and motivating teacher and tutor with more than seven years of Biology teaching experience gained in mainstream, international/bilingual and private education and via private tutoring. I teach Life Sciences to everyone who is interested, I always tailor my sessions according to students' needs.
My teaching method is to first establish what the student struggles with and focus efforts on building their knowledge and confidence around that topic. I would do this by going through many different sources and gathering together the information to explain the topic in a logical and simple way, then test their knowledge recall using questions I've prepared.
Hi, my name is Karolina and I am a Dentistry Student from King's College London. I understand that many students find certain aspects of the A-level syllabus challenging and having recently completed mine I believe that I know how to present them in a simpler and easier to understand way. GCSE grades: A*- all subjects. A-level- Psychology A*, Biology/Chemistry-A.
I try to focus on the basics and make sure students understand them. Science subjects are progressive, and it is impossible to understand more complicated concepts without a solid foundation. I am an outgoing and happy person, and I do my best to pass my knowledge in an accessible way. I can help with coursework and proof reading.
My teaching method is based on ensuring that a student is able to utilise the knowledge they have for any exam question they face, ensuring that they achieve the highest grade possible. I will often test a student using past exam questions and I may also send videos to my students to ensure that they are using as many resources as possible.
Before each lesson, I will ensure to a thorough understanding of the topic of the session and initially come with my own questions to gauge your current knowledge. I will make my lessons as interactive as possible, explaining a concept to you with a variety of examples that will illustrate the kind of questions likely to come up in your exams.
As a tutor I break down complex problems into simple steps.I work through these steps with students helping them. This helps students to understand the problem.
I teach by working through the learning objectives of the particular class through examples and practice problems, as well as adding some extra practice in relevant areas as I see necessary. I am patient and use different methods to explain certain concepts (images, videos, words).
My teaching method is highly based on developing the knowledge that students already have so that confidence in learning increases and complex information is more easily understood. I have been always complimented on my use of imagery to explain complex situations.
I have always found Biology to be very interesting however I know from personal experience that some aspects of it can be difficult to wrap your head around. I know all students are unique and I try to cater my lessons to the individual and what they find most helpful to ensure they can get the most from the lessons.
I have given lessons to individuals at all stages of education, primary to A-Levels. I will systematically work through each syllabus, and individually set up a detailed program for you to achieve your aims, whatever that may be. Each session I give is tailored to the individual, whatever your learning style.
I am interested in teaching Biology - starting from the basics of human anatomy followed by cell biology and moving onto the body's physiology and pathophysiology.
My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.
The way in which I teach is by first establishing what is known comfortably by the student. I then work through the gaps in knowledge methodically, ensuring as much progress towards the desired standard is made.
I offers lessons to high school and undergraduate students. My teaching methods involve introducing concepts, explaining them to students and finally ensuring that they have understood. As a tutor, I take up a very friendly personality, ensure smooth communication with the students and most of all I put forth all the effort needed to ensure that the needs of a student are met.
