I teach to the Exam Board or to the exam specification for entrance exams. I have a flexible approach to teaching that takes into consideration different learning styles, hence I endeavour to create variety in lessons, making use of activities during which learning takes place. I believe in developing a good teacher/student relationship and engaging students in the lessons.
My teaching method is simple and effective, I always make the basic fundamentals clear in student's mind and teach them how to relate those tricks while approaching any problem. Basics help students to solve critical numerical with ease using small tricks.
My teaching method is over the computer creating support for students who are needing extra tuition and support through their work. I tend to specialise more in primary years so ages 5-11, however, I can support people who are taking on QTS maths for University.
With the right teacher, mathematics can be enjoyable and stress free. I believe that age is no barrier when it comes to mathematics. With the right attitude, students of any age can learn any level. I am an advocate for accelerating students where ever possible.
The structure of each lesson will, of course, be dependent on the individual student and their specific learning needs. I believe to begin with it is crucial to identify their ability level in the different topics.
I love teaching, and trying to make Maths work for the students, finding ways to remember and understand concepts that link to may ideas of maths. I was not the best at maths at school and so have a good understanding of the struggles that come with maths, been a lot of work to get to where I am now. I love working through problems and figuring them out with patience and time.
I am a passionate math teacher with over 10 years experience teaching at KS2, 3, 4 and 5 working with the student from the very easy concept to the more challenging ones up until student confidence is attained when working independently
With teaching, depending on the student's preference, I either like to go through the content book with them and explain and give other examples of anything that they don't understand or need further explaining on. I also like to go through test papers with the student, and as we're going through the paper, answer any questions raised by the student and explain the questions they get wrong.

I'm an undergraduate studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford. This broad degree gives me experience at a wide variety of topics and techniques. My lessons focus around students stretching themselves with problem solving to stretch their understanding.
I base my teaching methods on Bruner's Spiral curriculum where students are initially taught the basics where they are built upon as the student becomes more experienced. Students generally benefit from this method which has shown great success over the years I have been teaching.
I am lead by the student and like to tackle problems together. It is important that they understand the method, and then we see which aspects of problem solving they find difficult and tackle that accordingly.
I'm a friendly patient person who enjoys working with kids and young people. I have Eastern &Western techniques of learning and understanding. My experties are tutoring from primary to A-level students.

I am very good at explaining mathematics in different ways so as to enable the student to understand. I like to have relaxed tutorials so that the student feels comfortable to ask questions. I have experienced many different techniques in tutorials at the University of Oxford so am able to try different methods to engage the student.
Hi I am Oscar and I'd be delighted to take up some tutoring for you. I must say even though my experience in tutoring is lacking, but I hope to make up for in knowledge of the subject matter. I achieved A*A*A* in my A-levels which allowed me to get into oxford university where i continue to study my second year there.
I teach by a problem solving approach. I use a lot of past paper questions, I let the student take the lead with the first problem and provide support if they get stuck. Then I take another similar question and let them answer one on their own, before going back through it and giving them feedback after they have completed it.
I base my lessons on the specification and ensure the student understands the first principles and builds knowledge from a good foundation. Extra details and techniques to help achieve the top grade.
My teaching methods are based on lecture notes and textbooks. I focus on covering the key concepts during the class. Normally I require students to practice problems at home. During the class I will go through them and try to help the students build the links between different areas of the subject.
I can give lessons to A-level and below mathematicians. My teaching method is to go through the fundamental principles of each topic with detailed examples so that the student will get the greatest possible benefit out of it. I always make sure to explore every possible scenario of a topic to ensure the best understanding for the student.
My methodology would be : 1) First, understand student background and prior knowledge. 2) Second, focus on students confusions regarding their acquired knowledge and clear them as soon as possible. 3) Third, explain how the practical things are working around them with the basic principle of mathematics and physics. And then move deep into it.
