My main goal is to get you exam ready. From my experience as a student, many students are intelligent enough to get the highest grades, but struggle to translate their knowledge in exams. I aim to provide a more fundamental understanding to key topics, but succinct enough to ensure you remain focused on the knowledge that will get you marks.
I have been tutoring Mathematics and the Sciences for the past two years, working with students from the ages of 11 to 16 with varying goals, including; • Long-term teaching to nurture a deeper understanding of concepts included in the National Curriculum.
Individual teaching in GCSE maths, physics and chemistry, by going to your designated location, such as your home. I will tutor by talking, doing GCSE exam questions and explaining in thorough detail. I have graduated high school with 11 GCSE’s. My strongest subject is science followed by mathematics.
I loved studying Maths and Science at school (in particular Chemistry) and I went on to obtain a degree in Natural Sciences. I have previously worked as a Cover Teacher and enjoy interacting with young people, particularly in a learning environment. This is the first time I will be tutoring, so I am open to providing support in whatever way my students feel they need it.
Math knowledge excites and inspires me. When I see math problems, I can visualize multiple approaches to get to the solution. There is art and beauty in creative problem solving in math and, and it is my pleasure to share this appreciation with others through tutoring. Different students have different ways of understanding different subjects.
I encourage and foster independence of my students. My teaching methods are based on what type of learner my tutee is, i.e visual, auditory, reading/writing or kinesthetic.
Firstly I prefer to learn the harder topics first. I break down the topic into different sections that let me dissect the teaching material and understand it to my best knowledge. I revisit the material, again and again, to make sure the topic is well understood before completely moving on.
Deep understanding of basic concepts is key in order to tackle questions from different point of views. Repetition of excersises in Maths makes perfection. Understanding how mark schemes work in exams to use appropriate words and get as many marks as possible.
Hi, I graduated from Forman Christian College in Chemistry. After that I worked in the food industry also worked as part time teacher in different academies. Now, I got in Sheffield Hallam in Food Sciences to enhance my cardinals in food chemistry.
I am open to helping students with studying at GCSE / A-Level Chemsitry and will look yo adapt my style to however you would like to learn. I think that exam technique is very important when it comes to studying for exams so this is something I would look to incorporate into our lessons.
I gauge the student's interest level first then I work from there to determine ability as well as knowledge in the subject. I keep positive, energetic, and encourage children to not give up. I teach maths at the GCSE level and Chemistry and Biology up to A-levels.
I like to go into details of every subject matter and make sure the student has understood it before I move on to another chapter. I like to do enough research about any chapter that's up so that I could provide students with best method to solve questions. My lessons are based on interactions.
What makes me a great tutor is that I encourage students to apply their knowledge to lots of different areas of science and encourage them to ask a lot of questions. This means students are not simply learning facts but are able to think more independently and laterally.
I tutor students of all ages. As a qualified teacher, I can quickly identify learners' needs and tailor my teaching as appropriate. I believe in acquiring a deep understanding of the subject to allow application of knowledge in new contexts, rather than simply memorising examples.
I can teach maths, physics and chemistry from Year 7 up to Year 11 (GCSE level), and I aim to help students with not only their ability to apply maths, physics and chemistry to exam problems but also with their understanding of the maths, physics or chemistry involved. I am driven and motivated to make maths and physics not only understandable but also enjoyable.
I dislike jamming unnecessary information in students' heads. I prefer keeping it taut; letting in just enough knowledge about the relevant topics to get students through their exams with flying colours. I follow a strictly practical method. I do this mostly by directly approaching a question first, and then ask the student his opinions about the question.
Tutoring Approach: I truly believe that tutoring plays a significant role in learning and allowing students to achieve the grades they are capable of. Every student studies in a different way and has their own way of learning. I have noticed this by seeing the way i study, compared to my friends and also other students I tutor.

Uses effective and efficient methods of teaching whilst focusing on the individual needs. Also, I taught Turkish lesson to primary and secondary school students.
My teaching method relies on creating a good foundation of understanding and then applying the information to exams or activities so students can put their work into context. Lesson goals will be tailored to each students needs to ensure they get help in the right areas.
I am adaptable and flexible so if you already know how you learn best feel free to let me know beforehand and I will conform to that. If you don`t, I have no problem in trying out a few methods and figuring things out together! I have previously taught using traditional lecturing methods but have also done question and answer, worksheets, used models and interactive learning.
I am a professional full time tutor and recent Oxford graduate. I am friendly and open in my approach and always customise how I teach to get the best of my students. - Which subject(s) do you teach? Chemistry and Maths - Tell me about your qualifications. I have top marks in all my GCSEs and A levels, and have a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Oxford university in chemistry.
I personally base my method of teaching as being a student my self, and understand from a students point of mind what it takes and what i would need to understand a topic simply and quickly. I make it fun, enjoyable and i am very good at what i do.
My teaching method depends on the student and how he/she will process the information.
I work by first assessing your learning style, where you currently are, where you want to be to, and the most effective route to get there. I use this to tailor my tutoring style to you, helping you to get the most out of our sessions.
I have been teaching Chinese nationals in China for the last 5 years and they have been able to achieve the highest grades (A-A*), even with English as their second language. This is not beyond the reach of anyone that is committed and, basically, follows my instructions, as they have been tried and tested. Prior to this I taught in Enfield and Barnet for 5 years as a qualified Science teacher.
I first ask students what topics they feel less confident in and start teaching them those topics and then give them tests on those topics. If they are not sure, then I will give them a test and identify their weak areas/topics and work on those. I also importantly ask how they would like their lessons eg. more interactive and tailor to their needs.
I try to structure my lessons around the student. They are there to fill in gaps so it is important that it comes from the student what they need to go over and learn. An essential part of learning is being able to explain it back so I am a big fan of quizzes whilst the student explains their answers at the end of lessons.
I pride myself in being able to break down concepts and making them less abstract for my students. Additionally, I ensure that pupils are shown the relevance of what they are learning and how it links to other subject areas. I ensure that I scaffold anything that i teach to ensure that pupils progress with confidence in easy and manageable steps.
My teaching method is to provide information to students for them to write down in their own words best suited and tailored to each individual.
I am currently a biochemistry student willing to teach biology and chemistry at the level of A-levels. Tutoring sessions will include encouragement, patience and personalised study for students. A variety of studying styles will be used, such as practice questions and mind mapping.
