I start my planning by considering the students' needs and their best method of learning. I am an expert at diffentiation and ensuring that all the students are comfortable and confident in the classroom. I use a variety of methods so students are motivated and challenged embed learning with lots of progress checks.
I tutor students in secondary level English language and literature. I use an individualised and tailored approach to my lessons and tutor online on a one-to-one basis. I feel I have a sensitive, non -judgemental approach to my work and am sensitive to an additional learning needs.
As a student, I've been there and sat through many a lesson where the inescapable yawn pops up all too frequently and most of the lesson is spent in the head, dreaming of a return home to a session on the iPad or the PS3.
I have had many lovely compliments from my students, including "very unexpected", but for the most part they have described me as warm, caring and fun. Online, my help is described as "very effective.
I have tutored in English and literacy for several years to primary and secondary pupils. I teach in their homes, schools and libraries. I build up a good rapport with my pupils, so they can trust my teaching to help them succeed. I teach up to GCSE level and have a friendly approach but am clear about the need to put in effort, and concentration to gain from the work we do in lessons.
My teaching methodology is to listen to the specific needs of each of my students and help them with their individual concerns. I do not necessarily have a formulated teaching methodology, instead I focus on each individual student and try to give them everything they need in the clearest and most helpful way.
I deliver personalised English/Literacy lessons to students of all ages. I'm professional, inspirational, experienced and get outstanding results. All students have an Individual Learning Plan and scheme of bespoke work to ensure progression in their studies. Students with learning difficulties are encouraged, and well supported.

I am a friendly third year English undergraduate with plenty experience working with children in an academic setting. I prefer to tutor children in a stress-free and positive way, focusing on strengthening learning techniques for particular academic difficulties.
I teach English language/literature and creative writing from primary school to A-level. I also offer lessons in drama, film production and analysis, and photography.
My teaching method is fast and efficient - but also patient. I like to coach and encourage students on what they've already written, building new and exciting ways to give their writing even more colour and flair. From here I work around inspiring students to create work they will be desperate to show off to their family and friends.
My teaching method is a controlled and organised approach to texts, focusing on verbal discussion and extraction of information, followed by precise short write-ups and summaries of texts. This will be followed by longer essay-style questions and mock examinations which will be marked in line with the mark-scheme and feedback will be distributed.
Most effective way to teach is by practicing exam papers. I also encourage different readings of different texts to understand the material in front of my students. It is understandable that a child needs extra help outside school and I myself was tutored for English, but, at A level stage.
Using a relaxed, open style of lesson I encourage students to discuss and explore the subject. Questions are encouraged and answered. students are challenged to ask me questions I will find difficult to answer to get them fully engaged with the topic.
