I'm an animation student who is currently going for her Bachelor degree. With many years of illustration to show as experience, I tend to help people in a positive manner by encouraging progress and open for any question regarding the lesson. Time is at our side and whomever I teach should never feel rushed in their development.
As art is subjective towards the artist and the critic, I leave room for the students first to discover their inner artist. I would teach the techniques, which include, observing, shading, texturing, proportioning, chiaroscuro and countless other ones, then allow the students to place these techniques into use based on their perception.
My teaching style is quite innovative and open - minded. Every individual learns uniquely and differently but it's important to share your skills and passion with everyone in Art. It's important to interact with others. One day you could be drawing a self portrait of yourself in a sketchbook, the next day you could be learning about markmaking, layering and building a perspective.
My teaching method is giving them materials and later make them learn in depth.
After assessing the student's level and listening to their needs (field of specialization/industry goals), I would give them weekly assignment practices in regard to the technical skills needing improvement. These assignments, can vary from small sketches to a large piece.
With the rough start, you have the biggest space to grow your skills. Never be afraid of mistake and sketching out an awful painting; because that is Art. I see everything in a beautiful and artistic way and encourage every learner to put their thought on the paper.
I'm from the south part of China, 2nd year art student currently .
My teaching method start from the level of student whether he or she is just a beginner or already has reacieved lessons. From there I will have the idea on where to start the lesson. But mostly if you want to be an oil paiter then I will start with teaching you strong drawing foundation then slowly moving on to oil painting.
I will teach you how to master the skill of drawing in perspective, use examples of famous artists and their methods to master the art of drawing.Through a series of tutorials you can either opt to refine your drawing skills solely,or go to the next stage of mastering acrylic painting.
I am educated to masters level in Art and design and have professional experience of teaching a variety of learners. I prefer to begin by seeing a portfolio of your work to understand your level of comprehension and technical ability so that I can then plan lessons to improve on skills which we have both identified you would like to develop.
I teach art and design at various levels, from intermediate hobbyist to Degree and beyond. I have a fluid and relaxed approach to teaching; I want to help my students build confidence through creativity. My lessons differ from student to student based on skill level, interests and personality.
My teaching methods use a lot of visual prompts and demonstrations to nurture and unlock the student's potential. I like using role play for languages with emphasis on the fun aspect to become more fluent and confident. I am experienced with SEN children, having worked with a variety of children with special needs.
My teaching is about mindset and self belief, anybody is able to achieve anything they put their mind to I just have to open that door to show you the way x
I have a degree in Creative Expressive Therapies and i am now on a Masters course training to be an Art Therapist. I have received an international edexcel award for my Art & Design GCSE and earned a 98% on my Fine Art A-level. I have developed my art skills throughout my 3 years at university for my bachelors degree and i have sold many paintings through my freelance work.
Teaching methods will focus on observation and using reference images.
I mainly tutor beginners and students up to GCSE level, however I can offer advice to more advanced students in specific areas. I am very positive, calm and committed to helping all students improve their skills and broaden the variety media they use in their own artwork.
EXPRESSIVE PAINTING TUTORING My aim is to foster a friendly, nurturing and creative environment. I encourage students whether beginner or improvers or more experienced artists to experiment and develop their own individual artistic way of working. Classes involve both technical instruction and development of ideas in sketchbook exercises and finished paintings on canvas.
I can provide art lessons to students at primary and secondary school level. I start off my lessons by introducing the media/material of choice and allowing some experimentation with the said object so that the student can be familiarised with it. I would then show the student how the media could be used and give them a project to complete.
