I base my classes around the drum kit. Learn the basics and then begin to learn more complicated techniques alongside starting to play drums for the fun! I have experience teaching young children but would be keen to take on all ages, its never to late.
After gauging your level at the instrument, we will be looking at mastering the basic techniques such as rudiments and stick control, as well as developing grooves and fills. If you are studying grades, lessons will be split between studying pieces and technical exercises.
My teaching methodology bases on understanding and learning instead of the pure enjoyment and immagination that music can offer, however, the enjoyment is still an important element of studying the subject.
