Since it is A levels, my teaching methodology is admittedly more exam-based than learning based. Since many of the students (you) may not want to pursue an economics degree, I specifically focus on providing exam-centered content lessons and notes, which have proven wildly successful.

My teaching method is trying to get the student to actually understand the logic of what I’m teaching instead of them following a process they don’t understand. Making them understand fully why and how something happens is crucial to core skills and understanding.
I think that every child is different and learns in different ways. Some may learn from pictures others from flash cards.
