During my learning years, I was and till am very passionate about French, hence why I would like to tutor. I am currently expecting a grade A/B in French. I am comfortable teaching children, primary/secondary/GCSE students too. Lessons will be run according to the student’s preferred methods of learning.
I start my teaching by assessing the level of language and prior knowledge of my pupil. I then ask what my pupil hopes to get out of the lessons. For younger pupils and adult beginners, this might be a case of building up vocabulary or for GCSE or A’level students a solid understanding of grammar might be needed.

I grew up in Hong Kong in the english school system, and have taught and tutored English and French in various countries including Hong Kong, China, Spain, England and Peru to students of all ages (1 and a half to 40). I have experience tutoring one-one as well as in a class room setting- my teaching methods are largely adaptable depending on your needs/ desires.
Tutoring is not just guiding students through their learning but also giving them confidence and enabling them to experience lessons in a relaxed, friendly and yet result-oriented way.
I can adapt to all levels. I am keen on giving vocabulary lists and oral presentations to my students, but I can also give grammar exercices or create more interactive exercices. I am specialized in literature so I can explain to you how it works in France before you go and study there.
