I would simply call my teaching method "learning by doing" There is no better way to learn a language than speaking it. What holds most people back is being afraid of actually speaking it. I believe a strong foundation in grammar is important, but the lesson also needs to be fun. I usually start with a bit of grammar, then introduce some reading and finish off with some speaking.
