My general approach to tutoring would be to bring the full up to date GCSE syllabus each lesson and find out what their teacher has covered so far that year. I would make sure the student has complete understanding of each topic they have covered in school.
I am currently attaining a 2:1 in chemistry and the university of Hull. Talking at somebody for hours on end is in my opinion an inefficient use of time. I like to have my students interact with exam type problems and use experiments to see the true value behind why we study the sciences. This can lead to an ambition that starts with passing exams.
During the first lesson I gauge how a student responds to various topics and try to identify weaknesses or areas which need more work. I work through the exam boards curriculum using a combination of teaching through examples, and setting questions for the student. I use past paper questions as well as practice questions.
I have taught people such as my sister and classmates, regularly achieving 100% on papers when the ability of the student allows it. I will not push students too hard, instead focusing on key areas which are easier to learn and can gain more marks.

My teaching method will mainly focus on exam based questions. I believe the easiest way to understand a topic is to be able to answer the questions, so I can see where exactly it is that the student struggles.
My teaching method is methodical. Starting with the very basics, making sure everything is properly understood before moving forward, meaning it is much easier to learn new material and remember it. Starting with an example question, showing what the question is asking and how to use information provided to obtain the right answer.
My teaching method is very simple, i like to approach the topic by explaining the topic then giving example(practical) to insert understanding and questions for student to test understanding, we will go trough question together. Then will give them homework.
As a tutor I find that t works best to know and understand individuals learning pattern and pace of learning. I develop individual teaching plans based on each student and their specific needs.

I’m a University student that as bad as it may sound, I don’t really like the traditional way of learning. Some say I’m smart and have a high IQ but I like to think we are all the same and can achieve great things together.
I have found, through personal experience and through previous tutoring, that past papers and worksheets are an effective tool to grasp many of the ideas in maths. However I am willing to be adaptable depending on the individual.
My teaching method is interaction base with questioning and reasoning. I encourage deep thinking and independent learning.
I approach each topic by looking at the question, understanding where I have made mistakes then doing what I can’t to change my technique so that I do not make the same mistake again
