I am a student who enjoys teaching others what i have learned through experience. Have worked in a primary school so I have experience working with primary students. I can relate with students as i have experienced it myself! I love education so i want to help anyone who is struggling.
I would like to start teaching maths simply because I enjoy the subject and helping others to understand it, I also think it would be useful as a revision method for my AS and A level exams. I have previously put together work sheets for various topics but would mostly base my tutoring on whatever the student is struggling with at school.
I'm doing a maths degree at university of leeds. My tutoring style is generally going through questions that would be on tests. I generally let the students go through the questions by themselves and correcting them or giving advice.
From my own education and tutoring my 3 younger sisters I have found that many students learn differently. The key I believe is finding how an individuals learning can be adapted to enjoy the subject, as a student who enjoys something will always learn better.
My profession as a Primary School Teacher as well as my training equips me with a wide range of resources and assessments; which I can therefore provide during my tutoring sessions.
I have done A Level Maths and I can tutor anyone within GCSE and A Level. I can even help you online at any time, we will do this your way. Everyone learns differently, so you will do the best you can.

I find the best way to learn content will be through understanding principles and them applying them to questions because, ultimately, you will be taking an exam. By practicing questions and finding out how the examiner wants you to answer questions, i.e using the marking criteria, you will achieve much greater marks in your exam and get a better grade.
Hi, Mathematics is best learnt through tackling as many different problems as possible. You cannot simply read Maths, constant practice is needed, I help to provide the tools needed and then also guidance along the way. I like to tailor my tutoring to each individual, to focus of areasof strength and weaknesses so the session is most beneficial for you.
My teaching methodology depends to fully understand the subject employing paper work, presentation coursework and research depend on the students number. The teaching mythology depends on the level and background acknowledgement of the students. I am flexible and creative.
My method relies on helping the confidence of the student and making students feel understood and comfortable. Maths pr Physics can be difficult to deal with mostly because students feel powerless! I try to understand where the lacks of information is in the previous experiences and start from there.
I teach maths to children in ks3 and ks4 and am also happy to tutor adults wanting to improve their maths to gcse standard. I am usually guided by the student's specific needs in terms of topics covered but can also provide a program of study if required.
I base my teaching strategies on the interests of the student.
I make learning fun by using a variety of resources including practical manipulative, diagrams, worksheets, past papers, websites and apps
My lessons are tailored around the students, as I believe we all learn differently. I can approach subjects from almost any angle to make it fun, enjoyable and most importantly understandable to the student. I have endless patience with people who struggle with a topic.
I have a very deep understanding of the gcse, further maths and igcse syllabus so know the key topics pupils need to focus on. I use a system of using papers to uncover weak areas, followed by teaching time on specific topics in order to help pupils improve in key areas. I break topics down and explain them in easy ways so pupils can understand even he most complex areas.
I have previously worked in a secondary school as a maths intervention specialist and have a degree in Applied Statistics. I have a passion for maths and love to pass this on. I happy to tutor at primary level, KS3 and GCSE.
I aim to work with students to improve their confidence and understanding of the fundamental principles of maths. I am patient and enthusiastic and I believe there are no stupid questions! I will never get cross or impatient because I know that and that calm happy students are by far the best learners.
I teach with a calm and patient approach and aim to build confidence in my students, so that they can approach questions independently without feeling scared. I tutor primary school students, GCSE students and adults. I specialise in GCSE maths.
I base my teaching method upon introducing practical application to the mathematical method I introduce and trying to help my students learn to enjoy solving problems. "I'll never use this in 'real life'..." and "I just don't get it..." are the two phrases I hear most and these are the opinions that I try to reverse by simply trying to make it fun. I love mathematics and have devoted my life to it.
