Music technology is a very nuanced area, students often have a wide range of goals and skill levels in different areas. I try to find a balance between the most useful techniques and the most engaging practices for that particular student, to keep you engaged and enthusiastic.
As an experienced dj and producer i will be able to explain everything that stay in between beatmatching and music production.
Are you just getting into music technology and want to learn about synthesis, beat making and sound design? Did you just started working with Ableton and want to know some cool production tricks? Are you writing songs and want some feedback and learn new methods and approaches? We focus on what you want to do.
My teaching method is simple, hands-on the subject and active practice. I share the knowledge and guide an individual through the process to achieve desired results. Patience and calmness is the key to achieve desired results. On top of that being visual and sound creative to create a unique and original content.
My process of writing music is the following: vision/purpose (why you want to write? what you want to say?) – musical content (chords, structure, instrumentation) – sound design (how the instruments sound) – mixing (how the instruments live together) – mastering (final touches). We are going to go through each stages in great detail and learn how and why to do them.
My teaching method is one to one with students of ANY level from beginners to professionals who are keen to learn music production techniques. I have used my Diploma level in piano and Grade 8 music theory to teach previous students from grades 1-8 in both areas for 2 years. Including with children, who have passed with merit or above through ABRSM examinations.
My teaching method uses practical application to teach the students. I find it most helpful to get show real world uses for the content studied, or get the student to practice the content themselves. As well as note taking and lecture slides, the main focus of each lesson will depend on the level required for the student, but will always strive for the student improvement.
I am a professional composer, orchestrator and pianist with great experience in both making and teaching music.
The courses are customized to all levels of study, from the complete beginner, through to professionals already working within the industry. Tuition is fully tailored to the individual student’s needs with flexible schedules and a personalised course structure. Classes can be taught in the student´s home or in our sound studio in central Barcelona.
My teaching method is to establish what a person currently knows, and then what it is what you want/need to learn. I then work out a map of how to get from A to B and each session will have specific aims whereby we can mark off what you have learned.
Who i am aiming to teach: I am willing to give lessons to anyone as I myself have no experience in reading music or writing it. so I believe anyone can learn to produce music. Methodology: I plan on breaking down each class in accordance with what the student would like to learn.
My method is to allow the student to grow into the lesson and create an environment that can facilitate this
I tend to focus heavily on specific topics as this allow me to go into depth when explaining to students, this helps to strengthen their understanding.
Hi, l'm Kirk a committed, enthusiastic, hardworking person who is passionate about technology and learning. I give lessons with certificates. My techniques and my methods of instruction are structured from how I teach at leading Electronic Music Academies. Ive been told I am a great patient tutor.
My methodology is very much practical, I'm not a believer in hours of study or number crunching, instead I offer practical education that is useful in everyday studio life, as the player, as the engineer or as the producer.
My teaching method is watch and learn then you take over. Hands on approach from the start. I want my students to get the feel of producing from the first lesson. You will learn from day one and have a chance to show your skills off.
My teaching method is to start from the beginning with my students to show them exactly what is done in each step of making music.
I'm a guy who can teach you things. Strictly casual, your results depends on your motivation so my goal is not only to teach you things, but to motivate you to do your own research after I left. Equipment will be provided as well as everything else that will be needed in during the lecture..
