My teaching method is based in speaking.
- Spanish lessons for all ages and abilities, from beginner to business-level/advanced - Experienced in areas such as exam preparation, oral practice and general conversational learning - Lessons with a focus on building upon the key pillars of a language (grammar and vocabulary) and then building confidence in speaking in the target language A student of French for over 20 years, and...
I fell love with Spain during my degree. The people, language ( and food)! After 20 yrs in Spain, I want to teach Spanish so you can fully appreciate the beauty of the country.
The first stage in learning a new language is the most boring one, we will discover how each letter sounds in spanish and how their combinations work and the basics of grammar, once you know this you will be ready to start the interesting part.
Teaching a language is also teaching a culture. So I think that watching films in Spanish really helps in the learning process. Of course, if a student is only interested in learning vocabulary and verbs I can change my teaching method without a problem.
My classes are mainly communicative, so we will speak a lot! However, time will also be dedicated to learning the rules (I find it necessary!).
I want my students to learn Spanish but more importantly I want them to like it, to find their motivation towards the language. My methodology changes depending on the students needs. I always adapt my classes to my students goals, strengths and weaknesses.
It is base on the knowledge of the student, their interests. From them, I plan the classes so they are learning about subjects they like, writing and talking. The other part is the practical part, a conversation (shopping, travelling, asking questions when they need information). Obviously, there is always a homework and learning a song.
I have obtained an A-level diploma in Spanish and approach all my lessons focusing on oral communication and incorporate games and clever remembering strategies into my teaching. I focus on oral communication and pronunciation, I use games and different repetitive strategies to aid my students with remembering and understanding the language they are learning.
I base my lessons on what areas the student needs most support in, and use methods to guide them and help them as to what works most efficiently towards reaching their potential. At the same time I will provide resources and my knowledge so that they can access everything they need.
My teaching method is interactive. Speaking, writing, reading and exchanging ideas through practical exercises that will help the student learn and have confidence in their abilities.
I very much use the new ideas of teaching and make sure every student I work with, succeeds in whatever the reason behind learning the language is.
My focus is on getting my students to feel comfortable with the Spanish language, so time is spent conversing and "warming up" with word games before lessons begin. My style is relaxed and I am very patient (as a mother of two you learn this skill!).
I have experience teaching at university in Tenerife in thr field of Psychology. Im a young teacher with new methods to teach, enthusiastic and fun. "Learn doest have to be boring" There is lot of ways to study a language, but the best is always with a native speaker.
Adapting to what the student needs and wants and making each topic as engaging as possible. Looking to convey some practical shortcuts as well as learning how to swim on the deep end from day one. I strive to provide interesting mixed media to discuss, analyse and enjoy witht he students, all geared towards their personal target; be that turistic, basic small talk, business and law jargon, etc.
My teaching method is flexible based on the needs of each student. I believe in the approach of regular immersion in the target language in order to build up confidence and fluency.
My teaching method is tailored to the goals of my students and their preferred method of learning. I'm used to the assessment methods from different institutions and can adapt my teaching to what they expect from their candidates.
I use my own materials and mainly focus on oral skills, such as speech, vocabulary, conversation practice, idioms and expressions.
I have access to all the latest interactive resources and always ensure I meet my students' needs to build up their confidence and improve fluency in the target language across all four skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing in a way while keeping it fun and enjoyable.
I teach every level of Spanish, since the most basic aspects to the most advanced ones. My lessons are mostly directed to reinforce those aspects of the language that can be hard for the students on any area (comprehension, speaking, grammar, etc.). However, I do not only give classes to reinforce knowledge, but if you want to learn the language from scratch, I can also be your teacher.
An enthusiastic, friendly and keen linguist who is constantly looking to expand my own knowledge in addition to helping others to develop theirs. I would be delighted to offer ad-hoc assistance and advice to students of all ages, from Primary School right up to Undergraduate level.
I am happy to teach students up to A-level. My main focus is to make learning fun as this creates a better learning experience in my opinion. Confidence is important when learning a language and therefore I like to focus on speaking and engagement. I try to make the dreaded grammar parts as engaging as possible by applying it to the individual students rather than using boring text book examples.
I'm happy to tutor any level of Spanish, I will adapt my teaching to that level. I can help with any specific section (Writing, Speaking, etc) you may need help with, and I can also provide reading books in Spanish to help with pronunciation and reading skills.
My aim is to make Spanish learning fun and practical. I use audio-visual materials, such as flashcards, pictures, music and worksheets. I also use games, storytelling, role playing, music, and arts and crafts for the little ones too. Repetition and revision are key. I can also teach conversational skills, writing and reading, as well as prepare students for their GSCE exams.
My teaching method is 'easy' we will just talk a lot and then you will tell me what you need more support with and we will go for it ! I travel a lot which means I have lots of free time in Hotels all over the world ..
My methods of teaching depends on the person. Each one learns in a different way. I am native Spanish so the level of the lesson would also depend on the student. I am am exchange student and I need to pay my studies.
I taylor the classes to the individual.
I am an A level student going on to study Spanish at University. I am able to teach with confidence up to GCSE level Spanish. My main focus would be on vocabulary and grammar, with oral work to make sure that you can apply these concepts.
I would love my students to immerse themselves in the Spanish culture as much as possible, to fully appreciate the language and develop a more authentic style. For this I would be looking for more advanced students to engage in discussion and debate over trending topics in Spain, along with books and films, using this to develop grammar and greater ability for speech and comprehension of Spanish.
I am a native Spanish speaker and I teach Spanish to all levels and ages, from beginners up to A level and University level. I like to make my lessons fun and entertaining as I find that they are more memorable in this way.
