Find private padel lessons in Harlow

Learning padel starts with a handful of technical basics before you chase points.

• Grip and racket control: holding the bat correctly gives you more precision on every shot.
• Positioning on court: staying close to the net and moving as a pair is central to padel.
• Using the walls: learning to read wall rebounds takes practice but opens up your shot options.
• The underarm serve: padel serves are always hit underarm, below waist height.

Group or private lessons help you build good habits before bad ones set in.

A private padel lesson in Harlow costs approximately £55/h.

This rate varies depending on several factors:

• Your current level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
• The instructor's credentials and playing background
• The duration and frequency of lessons
• Whether you book solo coaching or a shared court session

Most coaches offer a free or discounted trial lesson so you can test their style.

Most beginners find padel easier to pick up than tennis or squash.

• Smaller court: the enclosed court means less ground to cover than tennis.
• Underarm serve: the simple serving motion is easier to master than an overhead tennis serve.
• Doubles format: having a partner makes early matches more forgiving and social.
• Wall play: this is usually the trickiest part and takes the longest to master.

A private coach can flatten the learning curve even further with targeted drills.
