My student hopefully will be able to state the topic or questions that they require help with. Depending on the class itself but usually my class would detail the fundamental key points of the topic first, such as theorems or definitions. I would ask the student if there is any particular part of the topic that they are not comfortable with or the entire topic.
My teaching methodology is basically an engineer’s approach; identifying the problem that each individual student has, and finding the solution by strengthening that area through careful explanation or further practice. My teaching method is especially giving lessons to the indiviual students and sometimes in groups near the exam time to give more attention to all the students and check them by taking exams in groups so that they don't feel hesitation in the final exam as they have already given exams in groups.
